"Not my will but yours be done." Luke 22:42
Let's spend some time considering when to let go, how to let go, why letting go is helpful, and what makes it so hard. Does God ever let go? When did Jesus let go? When does he not let go? In what areas of our lives are we letting go? In what areas are we holding on when we could be letting go? Bring your Bible, your questions, and your friends, and join us at this year's Conference as we explore how these and other related ideas apply to our lives.
Our hotel in Williamsburg is unexpectedly closed due to delays in renovations so we decided to move the conference somewhere beautiful and fun. We're going to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Want to join us?
We found a hotel on the boardwalk, a few feet from the ocean. We visited it in person early in September. The rooms are newly-renovated. The conference room is large with floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of the ocean. There is a restaurant on site.
We are envisioning morning talks, afternoon group sessions, ultimate frisbee games on the beach, long walks on the boardwalk, meals at new restaurants, boardgames, puzzles, lots of singing and music, and (maybe) a polar plunge (organized by the intrepid younger crowd).
We're hoping that after a few days around the ocean, friends, and the Word, we'll all leave feeling a little more refreshed, relaxed, and restored.
